The Post About 10 {Books} on Tuesday You Can Win!

Blogiversary Books
I love to read. You love to read. Or maybe you just like to read on the internet. Or maybe you just like to read blog posts about stuff you can win. Herenorthere.

In honor of my Blogiversary, I'm giving away 10 books I really love to one lucky and random winner. And I mean "lucky." I didn't just pick books out that I got as gifts from people who don't know me or that came free when I bought books I really wanted. This is a sacrificial giveaway. These are pieces of my literary and hoarding heart.

Here's a rundown of the bounty (as seen above.)

1. Running with The Giants by John Maxwell.

2. The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks.

3. The Reader by Bernard Schlink.

4. To Own a Dragon by Donald Miller.

5. Night by Elie Wiesel.

6. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

7. A Heart Like His by Beth Moore.

8. Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell.

9. Secrets by Kristen Heitzmann.

10. Before and After Decorating by HGTV.

The Post About Name My Phone and Win!

This week is my happy snappy blogiversary! One year ago I started this little adventure at Jamie's Rabbits. Thank you for being a part of the journey - whether you've been reading since day one or today's your day one. In order to celebrate, I'm giving away some goodies. Every day.

I introduced you to my new romance last week and I've written before how I name things I love. My regrets to Sammy the Samsung who will now be living with my nephew. Sammy - I hope we can always be friends. It wasn't you, it was me.

I thought it would be sassy to let a Rabbit Reader do the honors of naming my new phone. Suggest a name and you get a chance to win one of two $10 iTunes gift cards. I'll choose the winner who recommends the best name. Since "best" is subjective to my ever-changing mood, I will also choose a random winner who simply puts themselves out there.

Important Deets

Entries will
ONLY be accepted by completing the form below. You're welcome to comment on this post about how annoying this contest is or how much you like me, but that won't get you entered for the swag. You have two entry opportunities:
  • 1 entry for suggesting a name for my adorable, yet manly phone.
  • 1 entry for following me on Twitter.
Yes. This is a bribe. I'm not ashamed. But am I not funny? Do I not bleed when you don't vote for me?

Entries will be accepted from anywhere in the world. Even strangely shaped Tennessee. You must enter before 11:59 pm CST on July 6, 2009 to qualify. Winners will be announced on July 7. You get my first-born if I ever share or publish your info.

The Post About The Rabbits Recommends v.24

Each weekend, I post a readable, a watchable, and a listenable of which I'm fond. You can choose what happens next. Earlier volumes can be found here.

Read

This is a classic I recently revisited with no regret. John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress is one of the most translated books in history, for good reason. It's the journey of a man named Christian who is making his way to Celestial City. He meets a motley crew of characters including Charity, Obstinate, Evangelist, and Hypocrisy - all of which could have been played by me. It can make you fall in love with God for the first time or all over again. No pressure.

Watch

I'll be the first to admit there's a lot of hype surrounding the Fox show Glee. However, the pilot did not disappoint. It had me lamenting not having a show choir at Corner High School circa 1994 and rooting for the demise of the lead character's marriage. What? Yes. You can watch the first episode here from the cozy couch that is my blog.

Listen

A friend recently accused me of being addicted to acoustic coffee shop music...guilty. One of my faves from way back (is 1998 really "way back?") is Shawn Colvin. Her music makes you want to sit on the porch and journal about lost love or the vastness of nature. I tend to listen and drive to Old Navy - a valuable task all the same. Her latest album is Shawn Colvin: Live which includes this cover of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy." Lovely.

The Post About Hot and Bothered

Three things this week that bothered me:

1. The heat index in my Southern abode has been in the 100's. I'm not a sweat-er in general, but on Wednesday, my cheeks were actually perspiring. This is probably the reason I was unable to pick up a beau-friend at Publix. Dripping blush. Weather is hard.

2. I purchased items at a store that totaled $11.26. I handed the cashier a ten and two ones. Then I said "Wait, I have a penny." He looked at me with condescension and said, "Uhh...you gave me enough." Math is hard.

3. I was standing in line behind a woman who had just come back from vacation and was sharing on the phone about how proud she was of her tan. She had clearly worn a halter bathing suit, but was now sporting a spaghetti strap summer dress. Dress was lovely. Tan lines were embarassing. Being white trash is hard.

What bothers you?

The Post About Finding My Endless Love

I met someone this weekend.

He's dark, short, and handsome. And I have him in the palm of my hand.
I waited for love like this long enough.

We will be together for at least two years or until I'm eligible for an upgrade.

You can listen here to my radio conversation with Cari & Dale waxing romantically about my new love. I apologize for the giddy. (It's about 2.5 mins)

If you'd like to recommend a great app for me to download or a good therapist for me to see, please comment below.

The Post About Ten {Camp Lessons} on Tuesday

Camp APAC 2009 Collage
I spent the last week in the woods with bugs and humidity and the loveliest of folks. Each year, I coordinate a camp for adopted kids at Camp ASCCA in Jackson's Gap, Alabama. There's a reason that city sounds like the middle of nowhere. But it's "nowhere" really lovely.

10 camp lessons I learned:

1. Camp pancakes are better than gourmet filet mignon cooked to perfection.
2. Eight-year-olds tend to sleep better with magic wands. And Benadryl.
3. An off-roading golf cart is the only way to travel.
4. I can high kick like a cheerleader without the previous experience or varicose veins.
5. You can actually drink too much water. Stick to sodas.
6. Falling in love at camp is hard. Especially when he's an English accented lifeguard.
7. Vans are creepy when they have no windows and packed with candy and stuffed animals.
8. Mao is a card game that can produce a second wind better than any amphetamine.
9. Utilities workers can be "persuaded" in a restaurant parking lot to restore power to your temporary camp residence first.

10. Children should be seen, heard, and loved. Period.

The Post About Who's Your Daddy

One more great guest blogger for you as I try to wash off the rest of the woods. Cari Kates is one of my bestest and most annoying friends. She is a better steward of money and because of that, I'm a better dresser. Enjoy her rantings and I'll be chasing rabbits with you tomorrow. jamie

In February, I went to Texas to visit family. The reason wasn’t so good…my cousin passed away, and it’s still hard to believe she’s gone…but it was soooo good to see my family, especially my daddy. First, you must know that my dad is a Texas Redneck. That means he wears a trucker hat, you can always see his chest hair protruding from the collar of his shirt, and he considers beer, salsa, and steak the major food groups.

While I was in Texas, I learned a couple of things. The Cowboys are building a new stadium in Arlington, near Six Flags, that my dad calls “Jerry World” (after owner Jerry Jones, I guess). He wanted to see it, being the rabid Cowboys fan that he is, so we took a nice little trip to look at the progress.

It was on-site that I learned the second thing, through the viewfinder of my camera, as I documented his stop at the stadium construction…my dad is pregnant.

When I asked my dad when he was due, he didn’t answer me. Either he’s trying to surprise us, or he didn’t have his hearing aids in. I hope it’s a girl.

The Post About The Rabbit Recommends v.23

Each weekend, I post a readable, a watchable, and a listenable of which I'm fond. You can choose what happens next. Earlier volumes can be found here. This week is the adoption camp edition, since that's where I've wandered off to...

Read

I read A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer as part of a reading assignment in college. After picking myself up off the floor, I decided to work with families in social services. This week I've been with many kids who've encountered abuse. Their resilience is inspiring. You may not pick a new career after reading Pelzer's story of survival, but it will lead you to consider the needs of children in abusive homes.

Watch

Singing chipmunks are not for everyone (they're right up my alley.) But the message that families come in many different shapes and sizes is a keeper. FYI - real chipmunks in your house are not as fun.

Listen

What's camp without an inspiring soundtrack? I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas is a must-add for any event this summer that could be one for the books.

The Post About Crazy Starts Somewhere

Today's post is being brought to you by my godbabies daddy, Joseph. We have been friends for 16 years and we still agree on very little except maybe on the magnitude of our love of God and cheese. Enjoy! jamie

I am guest writing on a blog whose readership is (I am assuming) mostly female.Yes! One more thing I can cross off my bucket list. I blog regularly over at Joseph’s Blog-O-Log. If you like Jamie’s Rabbits you might find my ramblings an interesting detour as I chase rabbits of my own. I write about whatever I’m happy or sad about at the moment. Sometimes that’s politics. But I always try to respect other people’s views. Even if they are goofy. Especially if they are goofy. Jamie told me not to get political so I won’t. Hope you enjoy. Then come over and click ads because I have to have money to finance the crazy that is my life.

I remember being 13 or 14 and staying over at my friend Joe’s house. We would stay up and watch MTV all night and dream our dreams of heavy metal glory. We would also make fun of the New Kids on the Block videos. We were Beavis and Butthead cool before it was cool. If such a thing is even possible.

Sometimes Joe and I would get bored with videos around 2am and start surfing the channels. We came upon a commercial proclaiming the wonders of the “V-Slicer”. All you had to do was run a tomato over the amazing V shaped blades and the most perfect slices would drop from the bottom. (Aside #1: I recently saw a V-Slicer being used on Iron Chef America. Awesome.) If I had a credit card in those heady days of the late ‘80’s I would have most certainly had a V-Slicer. And anything else that tickled my fancy. Then bankruptcy and financial ruin all before the age of 15. This was crazy I know.

Crazy has to start somewhere. The other day I was brushing my teeth with my 5-year-old, Billy. Here is how the exchange went.

Billy: Dad, do you ever have a problem getting the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube?
Me: Not really because I know the secret.
Billy: Actually Dad if you buy the “Touch and Brush”
all you have to do is put it on the wall and put the toothpaste in it and you will never have that problem again.
Me: Really?
Billy: Yeah, really?

My son has been watching commercials that come on during SpongeBob Squarepants. He actually suggested we buy Snuggies for the whole family. (Aside #2: The Snuggie is a blanket for people who are too stupid to use a real blanket.) He doesn’t think they look ridiculous at all. He thinks they are the coolest.

But not nearly as cool as the “Touch and Brush”.

The Post About The Rabbit Recommends: Nerd Edition

Yesterday's faboosh came from New York and today comes from Tennessee. My friend Scott is smart, funny, and smart. He's almost a CPA and he knows his way around a gadget. Enjoy! jamie

Since I was Jamie's friend who introduced her to Google Reader, I thought it might be nice to share a few other technology-related innovations that might help you out in life. You can think of it as "The Rabbit Recommends: Nerd Edition."

1. Redbox and InsideRedbox: Seriously, I may never go to the theater more than once a year ever again. You can rent DVDs for a dollar a night. Yes, that's $1 per night. Their website is great...you can find the movie you're looking for and even reserve it if you want. Then when you get to your local kiosk, you can pick it up. InsideRedbox has coupon codes you can type in when you're checking out from the kiosk that can end up getting your first night free. So if you only have the DVD for one night at a time...free DVD rentals. It's pretty amazing. I sometimes wonder how these people are making money...but their system works terrifically, so I'm always happy to use it.

2. Lifehacker.com - Put this site in your feed reader/bookmarks today! This is a handy site that covers all sorts of great ideas to make your life better. From do-it-yourself projects to eating advice to pet owning suggestions to tech-related news and research...they have something you're bound to be interested in. And they do a great job of covering everything, so you can read as much (or little) as you care to know about each topic.

3. ReQall.com - A few years ago, I learned a neat productivity trick: When I was out and needed to remember to set a 'to-do' for myself at work the next day, I would call my office voicemail from my cell phone and leave a message, telling myself what to do. ReQuall is a step better than that. Visit the site and get set up. When you're out and need to leave a note, just call ReQuall (I have it on speed dial) and say your note. If you say "Don't forget to tie your shoes," then it puts it on a list of things to do and emails you a copy of your message, typed out. If you say "Meeting at 2 with the boss", it can put a meeting on your calendar at 2pm. If you say "Go to the store and buy milk" then it will put "milk" on the shopping list. No matter how you use it, it does a great job of serving as a text-to-speech program that emails you written summaries of your spoken ideas. I've been a happy user of the free version for over a year now.

Feel free to come check out my blog at www.scottcrews.com! Thanks to Jamie for this great opportunity. This was fun!

The Post About The Guest Blogger's Ten {Necessities} on Tuesday

This week's rabbits are being provided by some fabulous folks I handpicked to love on you while I'm in the wilderness. More about that later. Please meet Michelle. She's a lovely classmate from a Blogging Your Way online class I took this Spring. If our class had been real, we would be the girls in the back of the class cracking jokes and demanding attention. Seats at our lunch table would be in high demand...Show her much love! jamie

Ten things I need everyday:
1. Coffee!! Coffee! Coffee! Coffee! Coffee! And...coffee! Even better when it's in a Team Awesome mug from my wedding, or in a Cawfee mug from Fish's Eddy.

2. Lip gloss! As a super-pale, dark-haired, blue-eyed lady, I look dead without my gloss. It's not a good look. Even goth chicks wear lipstick, people.
3. My Filofax! While I don't like schlepping it around, I can't imagine not being with my Grape Filofax that I got last month. I mean, the thing tells me what to do with my day, my month, my year...How can I leave it at home, without a purpose? What would I do with the ideas that come into my big head? How would I know how to use my free time? I wouldn't. Duh.

4. Good reads! With the hour+ I spend commuting on the subway every day, I need something good to read so I don't have to make eye contact/listen to the homeless preacher man who says, "Relax your ass, and stop cursing. The white man lies!" Yes, that is an actual quote from the homeless preacher man on the subway today. Usually I read my New York or Time Out New York magazines, but I've been able to read some novels for my book club recently, too.
5. My orange business card holder! Soft and orange and buttery, it holds my work ID, a trillion business cards, my Metrocard, and any other card I pick up along the way. Look, I'm due for a free eyebrow threading in 2 more visits!

6. My BlackBerry! I like to say that I'm not addicted, but I left it at home once and immediately flashed on 10 horrible scenarios of not having my husband find me where we're supposed to meet up. Even though we planned everything in advance. I'm a bit of a worrier, but I blame my Jewish heritage - it's in my blood.

7. Booze! OK, so maybe not every day, but I need some wine or beer in my house at all times. Because nothing is better than taking a bath with a glass of wine, or watching TV with a glass of wine, or eating dinner with a glass of wine...you get the point. I highly suggest selecting your wine based on the name/label, as that's been going (mostly) well for me & the hubby for years. It's also fun to say, "Want a glass of Relax or Pure Evil?"

8. Twitter! Just because I call Twitter "my boyfriend" doesn't mean I love it. OK, I do. I love Twitter. Tweet me on @WhenIGroUpCoach so we can be twiends! And yes, talking like this does get out of hand. Twello to my tweeps!

9. Cheese! Honestly, I don't think a day goes by where I don't eat cheese. Mozzarella, cheddar & feta are always in my fridge. Not great for my thighs, but so good in my tummy.

10. My man! Aw, ain't that sappy? But seriously, I need my man. Who else is gonna make me delicious meals & sing me funny songs & make me laugh & tell me I'm cute & be all snuggly? My man is - that's who!

Mary Hunt's motto is "bringing dignity to the art of living below your means." I'll admit that I live almost exactly at my mean elevation and many folks I know wouldn't describe me as dignified. So a book that promises some balance and actually delivers is a God-send. She covers every topic from cleaning, groceries, laundry to travel. I skipped the chapters on babies and pets because I'm pretty sure they'll bleed you dry.

My favorite Bethany Dillon song is the "whore song" called "You Are On Our Side." Not your typical ode to the Heavenly Father, but it's powerful. I'm also fond of this acoustic rendition of "Beautiful" regarding the seemingly endless struggle against self-perception. No matter what you think, you are hot.

Probably.

No, definitely hot.

The Post About Better Than a Tie

I am not a baby daddy. And I do not have a baby daddy. But I think I have some insight on some good gifts for baby daddies.

Sidebar: Dad, if you happen to be reading this, consider looking away. I'm about to disclose your gift. Of course, you're probably not reading this. You don't even like to change the channel on the tv, so booting up the old computer on the other side of the house is an unlikely event..

1. Cash. Particularly any money that underwrites something he loves. For my Dad, it's a giftcard to Home Depot (that's not it.) In your circumstance, it might be golf green fees, Netflix subscription, giftcard to the Bass shop, or 10 rolls of quarters so he can snag that elusive West Virginia memorial coin (another gift my Dad would heart.)

2. See #1.

Now that that's settled. Let's talk about what I got my Dad:

Donald Miller, an author I've been known to be pretend friends with, helped launch The Mentoring Project which is an organization that provides positive male role models to boys between the ages of 7 and 14. I have the privilege of working with kids who didn't have a positive relationship with their fathers and I see the beautiful impact that having a loving adoptive dad or coach or Sunday School teacher can have on those children.

Because I have a Dad who mailed me comics when I was away at college and assumes when I call home, it's to talk to him - I'm even more moved by those who didn't or don't have that lovely relationship.

The Mentoring Project is sponsoring a delightful campaign where you can provide a mentor to a kid growing up without a father for only $10 a month. In exchange, you can choose any number of autographed books, DVDs, or CDs including The Shack by William Young. The bonus? My pretend best friend Donald Miller will send a personalized Father's Day card mentioning how great you are.

My choice?

My Dad and I were on a road trip once to Mississippi (don't say it) and we listened to Miller on CD. My father didn't hate him. Score.

The Post About Book Abodes

I like books. Some of you seem to like books. Or at least you seem to like bookstore money.

There are a couple of issues that come with liking books.
1. They cost money.
2. They cost even more money when you forget they're in your college backpack and fail to return them to Woodruff Library and then discover this lapse of memory when you are unpacking after buying your first home 5 years later. My apologies to Emory University. Trust me, no one will miss Interpersonal Process in Psychotherapy: A Relational Approach. It's better that I have it. Right, coworkers?

Another challenge with liking books is storage.

I have them in every room in my house. Bookshelved. Strewn about. Tucked away under guest towels. Everywhere.

I recently stumbled upon 20 Brilliant Bookcases. Here's a sample:

I imagine this bookcase resembles the organizational structure in my brain.

I like that sitting on this bookcase seems to make you transparent. Transparent = thin.

See the other 18 wonderful homes for your reading material at Incredible Things.

So, where do you hide all your books? Any neato ideas?

The Post About the Barnes & Noble Booty Goes To...

...#219 Andrea B. "The Holy Bible. It has every genre imaginable in its pages. It's living." (it was her comment of being a follower that actually made her a winner!)

Congrats on commenting when the mood struck - it paid off! Or perhaps God appreciated the press...

Muchas thanks to all who stopped by and shared your suggestions. Here are a few that stuck out:
1. Rabbit Readers love them some Twilight. Hi, my name is Jamie Cullen. Let's be friends.
2. Jane Austen has also nabbed some of your hearts. I'm on the hunt for Mr. Knightley myself.
3. Another author popping up a lot was Jodi Picoult. Why do I feel like My Sister's Keeper would make my hormones act up?
4. Classics are always good: To Kill a Mockingbird, Great Gatsby, Jane Eyre.
5. Best titles: I Won, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti (thank you cstironkat...) and Jane Austen Ruined My Life (thanks to marie). I think Jane Austen has ACTUALLY ruined my life. Mr. Knightly? Do you twitter?

I'm picking 10 of your suggestions to read this Summer. If I pick yours, then you get the prize of my love and affection if I like it. Plus, a little shout-out in future posts!

The Post About It's My Ball Now, You Punks

I've heard my parents talk about how controversial Elvis Presley was when he first came on the scene because of his crazy "obscene" dancing.

Pelvic Thrusting + 1950's = Outrage.

There's hooplah in every generation. I remember tossing my training bra at a little band of Boston boys who convinced me if I had the right stuff, then it would only take three times to hook a man. And clearly, it was wise advice, because Jonathan's been fishing for guys for years.

Now, we have Flo Rida. He's taken the lovely lil' diddy, You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) from 1984 (which was Dead or Alive's pursuit of a hug from a lovely lady) to a song about a girl with obvious daddy issues on a stripper pole. You haven't heard of it, Mom? It was #1 on the charts for 6 weeks straight.

When I hear most rap music, I want to stand on my porch and yell at the neighbor kids to get off of my property.

Am I that old or is the music that bad?

Summer Tree
This tree taunts me. During the winter, he spews an OBSCENE amount of leaves on my shivering yard. I call the tree people who call my people and we make appointments for timber. I make plans, we plot space, and I anticipate being reintroduced to Vitamin D.

I call the tree people who call my people and we agree to wait.

The Post About Daddy Issues

I've anticpated the day when the Jerry Springer producer calls to let me know I've been selected for a makeover show. Of course, that's not the topic, is it? No, the real subject matter includes the reveal that my Dad is really just a man who's been living in my house and eating my Mom's deviled eggs.

Why we're not related:
a. He carries cash, owns a checkbook, and has a credit score in the 800's.
b. He believes a dog, Sadie, might be his best investment in a living thing.
c. His fashion includes white sneakers and a dental bridge.

Why we are related:
a. He can nap without warning.
b. He will fight a crossword puzzle to its death, even if it involves rationalized cheating.
c. He thinks bacon is the base of the food pyramid.

Whether it's biological or common-law...he's a keeper.

The Post About SlapYourMommaTruffles

I never condone family violence, but these chocolate peanut butter truffles are good.

The suspects. Notice I went brand name on everything but the whipped topping. Cool Whip can stick it for 23 cents more.

This recipe is from a Cool Whip cookbook called "Simple Desserts." I kinda feel bad about that "stick it" comment from before. I apologize.

I microwaved the chocolate in intervals until it was nice and gooey.

I stirred in peanut butter. This is a Pampered Chef gadget that was worth the purchase just for peanut butter. Of course, you lose out on the cursing and yelling from trying to get the stuff out of a regular measuring cup.

I mixed that up and left it until it cooled to room temp. Since the oven had been on and it leaks gas, it was approximately 102 degrees. Make your own call.

Stirred in COOL WHIP. The whole tub. Minus what you need to taste test to make sure it's fresh.

Refrigerated for 1 hour+. My fridge is warmer than most because of frugality. It took a little longer.

Shaped into 1-inch balls and let them take a powdered sugar bath. There is no messier thing you will ever do in your life. Unless you work with sewage. Then a close second.

Placed in mini liners and watched people enjoy. Might be good to line serving dish with cigarettes. They are that good.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles
1 package (8 squares) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tub (8 oz) COOL WHIP topping, thawed
Bath items: powered sugar, sprinkles, chopped nuts, coconut, etc.

Microwave chocolate in large bowl on high 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted, stirring halfway through heating time.
Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Cool to room temperature. Stir in whipped topping.
Refrigerate 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in bath items of choice. Store in refrigerator.
Makes about 3 dozen. (minus the ones you taste test for freshness.)

The Post About Ten {Necessities} on Tuesday

Ten things I need everyday: (the first 10 can be found here)

1. Caffeine: Hi, my name is Jamie and I have adult ADD. There's no better way to chase that prescription than with a cup of coffee or glass of sweet tea or another amphetamine.
2. Elevator: My knees are those of much older woman. I wish it was due to an old cheerleading injury, but... I think my 4 inch heels may be exacerbating the problem, you think?
3. Handbag: A was recently at a party where someone left a brown handbag behind. The hostess assumed it was mine. I was devastated. My shirt and shoes were black. OBVIOUSLY I was carrying a red bag. Brown? Please.
4. Google Reader: I find when you write a blog, you tend to get caught up reading blogs. Of course, 106 may be too many.
5. 30 Second Skip Button: Sometimes I think I miss not seeing commercials on television. And then I remember I don't.
6. Chapstick: I see crusty lips on people and immediately want to become their monthly sponsor through Compassion International. Lip balm is also helpful when your eyebrows go haywire.
7. Dishwasher: Have you ever heard of people who don't rinse their dishes before putting them in the washer? Or folks who leave dishes in there for cycle after cycle hoping they'll eventually get clean? You have now.
8. Slippers: I've always been really judgmental of pushy homeowners who make you ditch your shoes at the door. However, when I think about walking around barefoot in my own house where my shoes have dragged in all types of toxic, I immediately shove my toes in some protection.
9. Celing Fan: I have a vendetta against the power company. Therefore I'm willing to sweat it out to keep an extra 25 cents out of its pocket. Although I think I need to dust the blades between season. Every so often I take a dust bunny to the eye.
10. Eye Drops: I may or may not be sleepwalking and smoking the mary jane in the middle of the night. When I wake up, the bloodshot eyes and Dorito crumbs in the bed are exhibits A and B.

The Post About Slo-Mo Dove

I thought I was cheating you of a post today if I only shared about my latest giveaway and this simply couldn't wait...

With the introduction of high speed intertubes into my life, I've now become mildly enmeshed with YouTube. This "literal video" made me guffaw. In a serious way. This is what we've always really wanted...

I've never really liked this song until now.
